Rating by category:
The room was spacious with a reasonable degree of comfort; bathroom ok but lacking in shelving space.
While looking at a brochure in the room highlighting hotel facilities, it became obvious that there must be two different halves: the half we were in was the older & needed some attention; the other half appeared modern, stylish & new with upmarket rooms - suppose a different price. Not bad for e65 b&b & the breakfast was good. The hotel is not well situated being too far from the town centre - so walking out at night looking for restaurants was impossible requiring taxi travel.
I stayed in a twin-bed room, which is old and shabby. The bathroom is definitely below normal standard. Though it is near to the tram (metro)station, I don't recommend it to other travellers.
We found the staff pleasant and helpful. We loved its being a football hotel - and all taxi drivers adored driving us there! Food above average and impeccably clean. We went away travelling around Tunisia for a week, and were very pleased we had booked to stay in the hotel again when we got back, as if it had been a sort of home, and that only after a stay of four days. The hotel is excellent value for money, and we felt very lucky to have found it.
We usually go for old hotels rather than new ones, and this is a new one. We had a problem with a leaking toilet, but they fixed it pretty quickly.
Its location is very central: you can easily take a tram to the medina or take a cab for little money.
The staff was not very friendly, but in my experience this tends to be the case in most Tunesian hotels.
Very cleen, international style, garden to stay outdoor to relax, friendly and helpfull staff. Room and bathroom not small.
It is 2 km from city centre, in an area where there is nothing, no restaurants. The service at breakfast should be improved, the table are left used and dirty for long time and the guests have the impression of a messy room. The buffet should be filled more quickly, customers should not wait looking at empty trays.
Nice reception, wellcome juice
every thing the noise of each door when its open from the other rooms ,the closet broken its compeletly diffrent than the pictures that i saw .
Our room was a great size and meant that in the week we stayed, we could spread out and relax. The breakfasts were stupendous with enough choices for even the pickiest of eaters.
The fact that people smoked in the lobby and the smoke got in to our room. Although the bathroom was huge, the shower recess was tiny and a bit uncomfortable. The staff were helpful but woefully informed as to things like where the bus station was etc.
We arrived very late due to TunisAir delay at Cairo, the reception staff were most helpful and understanding. In the morning, after a restful night there was plenty of time for breakfast, and to vacate our rooms. The staff have a good understanding of English. I wish we could have stayed longer. Value for money is outstanding.
I was travelling with my 84 year old mother and a lift would have been helpfull as stairs are an effort.
Good place in town, not far from Medina but neither from main roads and even Airport; food (diner) was acceptable in relation to price.
Room needs to be restored while some rust on certain parts but also old door not closing properly. Reception could be a bit friendlier even if the mentality in Tunisia is not to compare with Europe.
Rooms were spacious and the staffs were very friendly. The Hotel is just 20 min walk to Main Street of Tunis and 3 min by Taxi. Airport is only 10 min and charge only 4 dinar max. The rare view overlooking a football yard, nice view. Room service food is much better than the outside.
Breakfast was the same almost every day. There was no elevator but that wasn't an obstacle though.
The helpful and friendly staff
We did not like the syle of cooking in the restaurant
The breakfast wasn't bad at all compared to other places in Tunisia. Reception staff was helpful, but they should treat their guests with a bit more kindness.
Staff in the hotel bar was very rude, room wasn't in the best condition, kind of clean but very shabby. Hotel bar closes at 10pm Saturday night, which is strange. They do not serve wine, only beer and spirits. I guess it's Ok if you are staying for one or two nights, more than that you should look for a better place. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Tunisia to opt for well known hotel chain, they would probably be more familiar with the European standards when it comes to providing services and communicating with guests.
hotel position near of airport and city center, clean room, good servis, nice garden and coffe
hotel is without elevator, poor breakfast
very good 3 stars, nice smily and helpful staff, nice and rich buffet breakfast, really clean and close to tunis downtown, banks, public transport (tramway).
